The information I am about to disclose are done purely through my own initiative. Moreover, the information I am about to reveal are not meant to sell the project as it won’t be for sale until October of this year. This is purely for announcement purposes and is meant to probably give you time to think about what might possibly become one of the hottest selling condominium projects around.

So, why am I making this announcement when the project will be launched a far three months from now? It’s because the developer is known to sell out some of its best projects in a matter of several weeks. To write about this project just before the launching will be too late.

Although she already feels “jurassic,” (her words, not mine: ), she may be the most beautiful woman you could ever lay your eyes on. She’s Joyce Burton-Titular.

I first (and last) met Joyce and her wonderful husband, Ron, early this year, during the party-launch of The Edge Media, an online Christian Ministry with a novel and modern twist (kindly check it out and be inspired). Ron is the ministry’s Network Manager while Joyce is the “Donor Care Specialist”, (her words again: ).

What surprised me during that event was of the so many guests during the launch, Joyce and Ron chose to share a small table with me – someone they had never met until that time.

I came alone and stayed for around two hours. Joyce and Ron stood up and left the table only when they were needed at the stage or when greeting incoming or outgoing guests. But they always gravitated back to the table where I was at and we shared a lot of stories that people wouldn’t normally share with others they meet for the first time.

There was an instant connection between myself and the lovey-dovey Ron and Joyce (You should see this couple together; they are soooo sweet to each other).

More than her physical beauty, I admire Joyce for her intelligence and passion: she’s a brilliant blogger and does it like there will be no tomorrow; she’s a voracious reader with a penchant for sci-fi books, she’s a travel-adventurer, a foodie, an animal lover and a great conversationalist. (e.g., We argued why Josephine Bracken lost her son with Dr. Jose Rizal through miscarriage and wondered together what it would have been like if Dr. Rizal left an heir)

But best of all, Joyce is a passionate giver.

In spite of her busy schedule, she always finds ways to share her time and effort with our less fortunate brethren. That time, they were scheduled to hold a Valentines party for the elderly in a homecare in Antipolo. There has been a number of charity works that Joyce had spearheaded before and since.

For this Holiday Season, Joyce is at it again, this time, with her First Day of Christmas Project. They are asking for donations of used Christmas decorations, toys and clothes. Some sweets and foodstuff are also very much welcome.

This year’s beneficiaries are the Child House, a shelter for children afflicted with cancer and their parents and Jesus Loves the Little Children Orphanage in Pasig.

Child House was in the news days ago when its very own benefactor, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, almost had it evicted from its present location. Note that Joyce’ group chose Child House long before this news broke out.

Most of us have a lot to be thankful for. What better way to express our gratitude than by donating stuff that we have already enjoyed and extending their usefulness by sharing them with those who will appreciate them even more. Not that I am a pessimist, but let’s accept the fact that for some children at Child House, this Christmas might be their last.

What started as a mere curiosity to list down the many condominiums that I see being advertised everyday in the newspapers turned into a full-blown project – a directory of condominium projects all over Metro Manila.

What I originally thought would take days to finish, has now taken over a month of my free time. Whenever I thought I was almost done, more would come up.

But they are sprouting like mushrooms for a reason – there is great demand for them. I have this impression that condominium development may be the real growth engine of the Philippine real estate market.

Do note that this directory is still under construction and not yet online. I have simply put the directory’s banner on the header just so you and I can experience the look and feel of how this directory will eventually work.

I hope my directory will somehow enable those who are looking for a condo, either to own or to rent, to gain useful information and to save time before they actually go out to look for one.

It’s going to be a very simple directory. The name of the project is linked to its website. Only the most basic details will be provided – the developer, number of towers, number of floors and whenever possible, the number of units. The address will provide a link to the Wikimapia map of the project so you can examine the various points of interest within and outside its vicinity.

Here’s an example:

Avida Towers Global City is a two-tower condominium development of Avida Land Corp., a subsidiary of Ayala Land, Inc. It sits on a 4,000 square meter lot bounded by 9th, 39th and 10th Streets and Triangle Drive. Tower 1 will be 18 stories tall and will have 224 units while Tower 2 will be 20 stories tall and will have 256 units.

For your information, the directory has so far included close to 200 condominium brands (many brands come in 2 to 3 towers; others come in clusters of 8 to 10 buildings).

The condominiums are classified according to their location. Although, not really a city, I have created a separate directory for Bonifacio Global City because it is densest in terms of number of condo development of very high quality .

Again, the directory is not yet online. I hope to put the Bonifacio Global City condo directory online within a day or two. So do watch out for it. The others will follow.

The past several weeks have been a joyride for me and I will let you all in on what has, to me, been a frenzy of activities.

Be informed that I am trying to get an interview with the mayor of Sta. Rosa, Laguna, the Honorable Mayor Arlene Arcillas-Nazareno. Sana po mapagbigyan tayo.

I will also be attending a house blessing in Avida Settings Nuvali this Sunday, November 29, with my friends;  I hope to take pictures of the house. If time permits, our friends, Atty. Noel Jocson and his wife Liza, will again be giving us a tour of Ayala Westgrove Heights.

I also will tell you about a great website where I have been spending lots of my time. Rest assured, though, that the time I spend there, will positively redound to this website. That website is a global community of geography enthusiasts who are ranked based on the relevance of their contributions to that online community.

One of its most active and most respected users is ranked number 62; he’s Indian and guess his age?… he’s 14 years old.
